NEW COUNTY OFFICE FACILITY RISING
A local, collaborative project that broke ground on October 28th, 2020 to serve our community now and for generations to come. This new facility will centralize Geauga County services, unlike the current Geauga County offices at 470 Center Street in Chardon. The flow of information, payments, and documentation for county services will improve for our residents.

GEAUGA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
THE BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD
“A milestone of brick and mortar. This building will be a building of service to the people, and it will show a sense of community, a sense of pride, and it will help produce the Geauga way of life.”
– James Dvorak, Geauga County Commissioner
“Due to fiscally conservative leadership, past and present commissioners, and all of the elected officials and department heads, this building will serve the residents of Geauga County proudly for many years to come.”
– Tim Lennon, Geauga County Commissioner
“It’s going to be a proud moment for our veterans to have a nice facility. You could appreciate this for our veterans to have a nice place for us to be able to respect and give back to them.”
– Ralph Spidalieri, Geauga County Commissioner
TOMORROW’S NEW OFFICE FACILITY
BUILT IN GEAUGA, BY GEAUGA, FOR GEAUGA
Geauga County and its residents will have a lot to be proud of when the new county office building is complete. Not only will this initiative centralize county offices and improve county services, but it is all funded by the current general fund. There will be no new taxes used to fund the project which has been a promise to taxpayers since discussions four years ago. This collaborative mission has been in the making since former County Commissioners had the foresight to purchase the land in the 70s and 80s Geauga County’s brightest minds and talent came together to serve our county’s residents. Thank you to all involved and may this new facility provide much growth in serving the residents of Geauga County for years to come.
